Generic SIP Device and Ring Group CID

We have 4 Polycom 8440 phones programmed a Generic SIP Devices. We have 2 Analog lines from a Nurse Call System connected to the LS ports on the back of the 3300. We were previously on version 5.0. When a call bell from the nurse call was pressed, the nurse call would initiated the call to the LS trunks with the trunk attributes pointed to a Ring Group. The Nurse call sends the CID information  of the Room.. this was working perfectly.

We just switched the 3300 MXe II with MXe III on 6.0 SP3, everything is working except now the when the call bell is coming across the Polycom phones it shows the Ring Group DN not the CID, we also of 5330 in this ring group which are displaying the room information correctly.

What am I missing now that might have broken the CID coming across?

Try changing the COS Option 'Display Caller ID On Single Line Displays For Forwarded Calls' to see if that make a difference.

Gave that a try in all combinations, from the Trunk COS, Phone COS and Ring Group COS is  different combinations no luch

This is a known change as the SIP phones are showing the same Display info as the 1 line display phones. If you do not want to show the Ring Group number on the called phone go to release 7.0 and toggle with the second Display option with ANI in the COS of the Ring Group. That will give you the option to either show CLID or RG number/name.
