Issue with speakerphone on Mitel 5224

There are issues when we are on speaker on the phone.

So far it has only been seen during a speakerphone call. If I am on a call via speakerphone on my first line and I receive another call on my second line,
the speaker phone call goes blank and the people on the call cannot hear me.  Does anyone know if this can be resolved?

We have 5224 phones

How long can they not hear you?  Just for the time the second line is ringing or until you pick up the handset?  Or do you loose the person on line one completely?

I just did a quick test on a 5220 - not the same phone but should work the same -   I couldn't duplicate the problem.
My next question is this:   Does it happen with everyphone or just this one?

If just this one, try the simple thing first and just unplug it and plug it back in.  If that doesn't fix it, replace the phone.

If everyphone, I'd like to know what ring type is set to.  Ring, ring cont, delay ring, delay ring cont?

  I saw a similar issue - not exact, but similar - that was resolved by updating the handsets firmware version.
