Maybe this could be modified to work?

It is designed for writing SMDR to a DB. I haven't had a good look at it maybe someone is willing??

That looks like exactly what I've been looking for for SMDR tracking.
They have a VMWare appliance available for DL.  That makes it even easier.
I don't have time at the moment and won't for a while but I'd like to fire it up and try it out.
I'll start a new thread to hightlight it.
