NuPoint issues detecting disconnect signal
« on: January 07, 2015, 06:17:18 PM »
Hi all,
I'm kinda new to NuPoint but have pretty decent experience on other voicemail platforms. One of our customers is having an issue where they are experiencing their voicemail messages that are left for them to be only a few seconds of silence. I have encountered this on the NEC SV8100's "In-Mail" product line. In that case we found that the In-Mail wasn't seeing the disconnect signal coming from the carrier and even though their customer/client hung up, the In-Mail would still do its thing and record the silence. This was of course on Copper POTS lines and this issue I have now is on Native SIP trunks. Now the two voicemails being different and the two trunks being different, one wonders if this still kinda related. Are there any log files that may showcase what is going on here?

Thanks,
-Iron
