Report Question
« on: December 01, 2014, 04:01:43 PM »
Is there a way to run a report under Reporter Pro for an auto attendant that has choices.
We want to see how many people pressed 4.

Sure. When your create the filter, enter the application number associated with press 4.

It is one of our main hunt groups that a few other numbers go to that as well.

If you haven't flagged it to not count calls to the app, use a filter based on TRANSFER FROM and TRANSFER TO (from AA, to HG).  By default apps typically don't count, so you may need to go into CSM programming, find the app ext, and un-check the "don't count as rung" and "don't count as answered".  Keep in mind that this may impact ring-time reports, you may need to change how that is calculated.

Another easy way to count is to program a phantom ext to ring the HG, then point the aa key choice to the phantom.  Count calls passing through the phantom.

I checked and the "don't count as rung" and answered are not checked.
I tried making a phantom to go to that hunt group ( 2727 goes to 2004) but when I view all calls report it shows answered on 2004 so any filter I try doesn't show anything.
Since #1 and #4 both go to 2004 and I only want to do a report on #4 I'm thinking I need to make a duplicate hunt group and split it.

You could also point the press 4 to another application that times out to the hunt group, and report on that. I've never had an issue doing it that way.
