SMDR information on Hunt Groups
« on: November 25, 2014, 09:25:51 AM »
Does anyone know whether any Hunt Group information comes out in the 3300 SMDR.
When we look at the raw data that has been output from the switch the called party field has a number of what appear to be Extn numbers for incoming calls and we have seen what we know to be a Hunt Group number in this field but there does not seem to be any indication that it is a Hunt Group and that the call has been passed onto a station within the Hunt Group
Any ideas please

I believe that in general, depending on how your SMDR is configured, that you should see the hunt group as digits dialed then the stn that answered it.
But a lot depends.   For example, if you forward a phone XXXX to VM hunt group YYYY you'll see the digits dialed as XXXX then the answering station as ZZZZ.  ZZZZ would be the hunt group member of the VM hunt group that answered it.   I think it may depend on your SMDR config if you will actually see the hunt group in that case.
