Specific dates for STAR
« on: November 26, 2014, 01:55:36 PM »
I'm looking to create a "rule" for a STAR specifically for Thanksgiving.  My question is, where it says "specific dates" does the stop date include the date I've specified?  For example, if I want the "rule" to be only followed tomorrow (11/27/14) should my start and stop date be both set to 11/27/14?

Thanks

Yes, if rule applies only one date, both dates should be the same.  Also, goes without saying but be sure this rule appears in the table ABOVE any other rule that might apply, such as REGULAR M-F.

Yep, it's above any other rules.  I take it this is one of those things where the system will follow the first rule that fits?

Cholzhauer,

Yes it will follow the first rule that matches for the time, date and or day. This is why your normal schedules are usually on 19 and 20.

Thanks,

TE
