Call Forwarding - I think!
« on: October 03, 2014, 12:16:23 PM »
Hi,

I have classrooms with the 5304 IP phones, these are set to make internal calls only.  I am now tasked with allowing these phones to call a single mobile number. My thoughts were to make an internal call to another extension which then forwards to the mobile number required, but I still get access denied from the classroom phone.

If anyone can advise the correct way achieve what I need, I would be most grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Create a system speed call to the mobile phone.
Tick the "override toll security" box.
Have the users dial the speed dial.

That seems to have done the trick.

Thanks very much.
