Associated to Non-Associated Boxes
« on: September 15, 2014, 04:37:24 PM »
I feel like I've done this before, however, can't remember how...I have a mailbox that is currently associated to an extension.  I want to make it a non-associated box now and am wondering if that's possible without wiping the box and recreating it?

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Delete the extension: if IP, just delete it in PHONES list, if digital or analog change to NONE in the port list of the card.  If you then want to recreate the extension you may, but it must have a different number than mbox (or re-number mbox first).

Wow, I feel like it should be harder than that!  Thank you for your help, that worked.  I was putting WAY too much thought into it.
