Has anyone used the new announcements tab in the call coverage form? Care to share how it works? I don't remember anything about it from the 7.0 update cert and I don't have access to a system with the help files loaded on it to read anything about it.

Tried it and works well!
You can play RADs when caller are in queue (instead of ringback only). Previous versions allowed RADs only for hunt groups and ACD paths. Now, you can configure RADs to :

- User
- Hotel Room
- Ring Group
- ACD Hot Desk Agents
- Personal Ring Group (PRG)
- Multi-device User Group (MUG)
- Suites and Multi-device Suite

Feature really is great. But what controls how long a caller can queue? Will they sit there for as long as they wish with the called parties phone ringing or will they recall or overflow somewhere? Also, it rings through DND which takes us back to the previous question.
