I am new here and stumbled on this website. What a great collection of info and experts!
I am in the process of picking a phone system. We have a fairly unique scenario that we're working through where we are trying to link multiple sites.
Ideally, we would like to deploy the Mitel cloud solution at some of our locations. But we need other locations to have on premise switches. The sales folks I have talked to say that it is not possible to link a private Mitel switch with the MiCloud to allow extension dialing and perhaps presence info to pass through.
But the MiCloud website talks about a hybrid deployment of "public, private or hybrid" of the two. I read that to mean that you should be able to link the two.
Does anyone have experience with this? It seems like it should be possible, but maybe I'm not understanding the hybrid comment correctly.
