Incoming/Outgoing Calls on 3300
« on: August 05, 2014, 07:41:20 PM »
Hi all - -

I'm new to the 3300. . .I am having a heck of a time configuring the system to make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls. I have configured the extensions and voice-mail but I am struggling with setting up the system to make and receive telephone calls via a traditional telephone line. Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm learning, so thank you for being patient and with your assistance.

Chris

What type of trunks do you have?

They are the standard L/S ports that come with the controller. The system won't let me assign a trunk number in the database. It throws an error after processing the information that I need to "leave all the fields blank".

First make sure you have your analog board programmed

check Hardware -> Modules -> Analog Service Units
The first line should have a unit and programmed type programmed (Port and and installed type should auto populate)

Then work through your Trunk Attributes, CO Trunk Circuit Descriptors, Analog Trunks, Trunk Groups
