call doesn't drop to voicemail?

Hey folks, again.
Ok, so I've done this several dozen times with no problems... Now I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure what I'm missing.
I have a 5330e on extension 292. I've added a user in MAS and assigned that user to 292. I then added a new mailbox to that user with FCOS 12. The extension exists, and the mailbox exists, but when the extension is called, it never drops to voicemail. It just rings out forever. What am I missing?

Within the 3300, you need to assign the call rerouting 1st alternative index number to the extension.

Oh geezus, now I feel like an idiot. Thank you so much - that was it. Apparently that extension never had voicemail ever, so I completely overlooked that setting.
