Hi
I have a question no  related with programming, I guess. What is the cause that Mitel ports get damaged?, sometimes it doesn´t receive  ringing or it hasn´t tone to dial. I would like to know if there is any solution for this trouble.

You didn't say if you are using a 200 or 2000/ DINC ports or Analog ports.
In any case, ports do go bad.   There can be many causes for this such as a static discharge or simply because it's old or worn out.
Generally the only options is to replace the card when it has a bad port or move the device to a port that's good.

Ports can get "damaged" by any number of reasons... time (age/wear), dust & dirt, static electricity, transient voltage, lightning, unstable power, etc... Sometimes things just fail, there isn't always a specific reason.
