SIP end point devices using CESID
« on: February 19, 2008, 07:50:40 AM »
Does anyone know if there are plans to support CESID on generic SIP end points?  I am currently looking to deploy about 300 generic SIP (Polycom) devices but the 3300 does not supprot CESID for these.  I can do it through CPN but I am limited to 100 entries so this will not work.

I see that 8.1 will be out soon, does anyone have an idea of the changes?

I am using the Polycoms because for my situation they are inexpensive and function well.
(Mitel has enough of my money)

Thanks

I'm a bit confused.  - no unusual-
Exactly what are you entering in the CPN?  I believe you can do ranges in the CPN.

Last time I spoke with Mitel about this issue it was something like the rls 9 timeframe.
