How did this go for you?

I have a 400 phone 8 site system that I am going to do this on and was just curious on your experiences.

Sales is still working on closing the deal.  Wonder who gets to try it first!

I was a bit bored today so I rebuilt my test lab to try this out. It works well, just like OPS man does.

Once you get the admin groups set up and start sharing your tel dir info via SDS then it is as simple as a drop down to select the secondary controller.

I think this may be easier/faster than OPS because it can take so long to pull up extensions in the MAC editor.

I only had four phones running but I don't see how running many more would cause anything to act differently. Good luck on the sales.

Bored?  Who has time to be bored? <grin>

I remember being bored.  Then we got a "down" economy.  Now I'm to busy.

I'm supposed to catch up on paper work on Fridays but I use it to break things in my office instead.

Paper work.   What a pain in the tukus.   We computerize everything except anything that can possible be done by killing a tree.   I feel your paperwork pain.

So it seems to work well. It doesn't even need a name to populate in to the other switches.

correct.  Be carefull with the local only DNs, right now they are permenant. You should be able to delete them but it doesn't work and tech support gave me the "I will have to speak with design about this." Also, if you make a DN local only you cannot use it as an appearance on anything that is shared.
