RTC Shell Access on ISS Server
« on: March 19, 2014, 11:17:13 AM »
Does anyone know if there is a trick to using Putty to access the RTC shell on an ISS server?
I can get to the shell on all the other ICPs on the same network but not on the ISS server.

I've put all my networks as local networks and it makes no diff.

Here's the answer to the question:

MXE Server, ISS and vmcd port 2002 was shut down from the shell in I believe MCD 5.0.

To access shell, SSH to MSL IP, login as root user.
enter the following to get into RTC shell
#mcd-debug-console or #siterm /var/atlas/tenant0.0
To Exit enter Ctrl e

On Vmcd you can get to shell the same way as listed above or also enter the commands through the Vsphere console.
