Time displayed on 5360 vs ss4025
« on: April 04, 2014, 08:24:38 AM »
I have a controller with both an IP phone 5360 and a superset 4025 configured.  Both of these sets are on my desk.

The controller is set up with an NTP server on our network.  READDATETIME shows me the correct time on the controller.  The SuperSet 4025 shows the exact same time.

HOWEVER, my 5360 is about 40-45 seconds behind on the time.  Rebooting the ip phone doesn't appear to make any difference.

Any suggestions on how I can get all of my phones, regardless of type, to display the same SNTP governed time?

I don't think there is a way to resolve this.
There have been a few post about the time not displaying the exact time on the phone.
From what I've heard from others is that Mitel TS has said that the time display is an "approximation of the actual time".

Thx, Ralph!  Yeah, I too read that thread only after I had posted my own.  (will note to look prior to leaping)

It's really not too bad, my users won't likely have an IP phone and a DNIC on their desks to compare.
