Wrong Number
« on: February 27, 2014, 04:23:10 PM »
I have a DID at a site running 6.o SP1 that is not working properly. I am waiting to hear if it works internally (my guess is it does). The provider is sending the last four digits which match the DN so no Speed calls here. The rerouting matches everyone else and there are no active features on the DN. The number is 4878, but when I do a CCS trace it shows as 9771 (sites BTN) and rings to the front desk.

I say the provider has something screwed up in the translation. Any other ideas?

Update: the phone works fine on internal calls, isn't a part of any type of group, site as no intercept programming.

Have you fired up the SMDR for a look?

I was doing all of this remotely and the VPN won't allow me to view the SMDR data.

I did delete the extension and run Locate Number 4878 to make sure the number did exist anymore and the call still rings on the 9771 number. It has to be a carrier problem.

Your CCS trace is showing that the telco is sending the name "Cell Phone" and number <scratched out> then the digits 9771.
They are sending the wrong digits if the DID dialed ends with 4878

Correct, they were able to resolve it this morning.
