I must admit I haven't read all of this lengthy post but there's a bug in certian revisions, around about 5.0 I think where the twinning doesn't work properly.

It will only ring the deskphone a couple of times then start ringing the mobile, this is dependant on the Human Answer supervision settings.

It's fixed post V6 I believe.

I have had the issue where when the mobile starts ringing  the desk phone stops.
We were using Premicell which told the 3300 the call was answered when in fact it was ringing on the mobile.

Also sending out non owned CLI numbers can be done on SIP trunks. We are using it now with GAMMA.
Also i have also done it on COLT lines in london.
