Autoboot failed
« on: January 22, 2014, 12:01:19 PM »
Hi,

Can someone tell me what's the meaning of this error message?

MIPS *** Autoboot: Trying device 'eth0' file 192.168.1.2:vmlinuz (eth0,tftp) ***
MIPS *** Autoboot failed ***

This message keeps popping up in the logs after a reboot, then after about 40 minutes

MIPS *** Autoboot: Trying device 'eth0' file 192.168.1.2:vmlinuz (eth0,tftp) ***

And no failed message appearing after.
Thanks in advance, best regards.

Out of curiosity, are your 2 LAN ports set the same as the voice switch you are connecting to? Almost sounds like it doesn't like the handshake.

Thanks for your reply. Could you be more specific please? Which 2 LAN ports do you mean? What type of handshake are you referring to?

I see from Tek-Tips that this is a Cxi. I would make sure all of the ports (the built in ones and LAN) match the voice switch you said you are connecting to.
