The User ID provided is not known ?

So I have this hunt group, named Ext 6000. I want to have another way to identify it, so I was trying to use Telephone Directory and add Hunt Group for the Department.  But it won't let me add the department or location saying "The User ID provided is not known. "

What user ?  Me ?  I haven't had any issues making any changes on this system.

In telephone directory you are trying to put the identification in NAME rather than department? You can only add the deportment bit if you have a department set up.

The Department an location forms are just a collection of values you already programmed.
The 3300 allows you to add a Directory entry for almost anything (Speed calls, Groups, ACd ...).
In the Telephone Directory add number 6000 with the name as the department.

Note: in some cases the Department and Location fields have a special purpose like outgoing calls name display.
