Enterprise Manager/OpsManager - Virtualized server?

I know it's not officially supported, but I'm wondering if anyone's been able to run Enterprise Manager and OpsManager on a virtual server. Got a customer running EM 6.0.4.3/Ops 9.0.4.1 on some pretty old hardware, looking at replacement options. Customer has an existing MS Hyper-V environment.

I  personally have not done it but we have the post GDM Enterprise manager running in vMWare. Not sure why it could not run in Hyper-V. Ent Man is just a windows application.
