Headset
« on: December 05, 2013, 04:28:53 PM »
Hello,

Scenario: Individuals using headsets when there on a call and another caller rings in the headset it consciously rings and it's hard for the person to hear the original caller. I didn't know if there is a way to change this and have it ring once in the headset or twice then go silent? There are multiple people answering this line and a lot of times the tech is away from his main phone and the tech back in the work room would pick up the second call so it's not imperative it keep ringing in the headset.

Thanks,

The lines are set to ring cont and the units are wireless so the don't get plugged into the headset port on the back of the phone. The headset attaches to the side of the phone. I think the ring cont is probably what is causing this and I need to adjust this.

Thanks,
