IVR Redundant Ports
« on: November 30, 2013, 06:03:03 AM »
Hello

I am sitting up the following

1 CCM/IVR server with SQL licensed for 50 active ports and 50 redundant ports

1 remote server will be acting as my redundant IVR server should the active server fail

i am going to setup 25 ports from MCD01 and 25 ports from MCD02

this part i understand but my question is how do i setup the redundant ports IVR as i cannot see a tick box of the option to select redundant port

thanks in advance

Not sure I understand. Are you looking for redundant ports setting in the IVR?

I cant find my documents at the moment so correct me if im wrong, but I thought the redundant port license was for when you are clustering CCM\VWM servers, not 3300's.

I think you are after the failover media server (aka secondary element), which i didnt think required the redundant port licenses.
