Firefox failing to connect to Mitel 3300 After Upgrade
« on: November 04, 2013, 11:49:05 AM »
I upgraded to the latest version: 6.0 SP2.
Now Firefox won't connect.   I can connect via IE but prefer FF.

I get this error:

Quote
Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.0.200. You have received an invalid certificate. Please contact the server administrator or email correspondent and give them the following information: Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate containing a unique serial number. (Error code: sec_error_reused_issuer_and_serial)

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.

I've been doing the "Google Foo" but haven't figured it out yet.
I've deleted the cert but that didn't fix it.

Any clues?

Ralph

Got it.
Do a search on your PC for a file called cert8.db.
Right mouse click it and do 'open file location'.
rename cert8.db to cert8-old.db
Restart Firefox.

This resolved it for me.
