Import or Export of Audiotex Greetings
« on: November 05, 2013, 10:04:03 AM »
I thought this question was asked in class, but my memory is fuzzy and I wasn't able to find anything in the docks about it.

Is it possible to either import or export an audiotex recording?

Custom Audiotex recordings can be saved and restored to USB by going to the Operation dropdown in DBP and then to Voice Processor.

Nope is the quick answer, whenever customers have professionally recorded greetings I upload from my laptop through a phone with a Head Phone to female Curly Cord adaptor I had made.

Not brilliant but better than the other option which would be to backup the system, search through the backup for a weirdly named Linux sound file, convert your sound file into the same format and name then restore the whole system.

^^^^^ That reads massively easier than it actually is!
