ACD forwarding to RAD issue
« on: October 21, 2013, 09:27:57 PM »
Hi

I am having an issue (I am trying to get the last issue sorted before I make the queues live)

Calls land on a hunt group that is rerouted to voicemail menu node
The menu node directs off to different ACD queues.
One of the ACD queues is setup with a "Path Unavailable Answer Point" of a RAD message (through a RAD hunt group) (all the others are setup with voicemail boxes)

If I call the RAD port or the RAD hunt group the message plays fine
If I call the ACD path directly the message plays fine
If I call the menu node and select the option to the ACD path the message only plays once then every other call after that it will ring out then go back to the menu note

All other spots I am using RAD messages are working fine

Edit: sorry forgot to mention I am running a 3300 MXe III with MCD 5.0 SP2

Try this:
Instead of routing to a RAD HG, route to a phantom ACD path.  Que the call up and play the RAD.  Let it play a couple of times then disconnect the caller.

Worked, thankyou

This is one thing that frustrates me with Mitel, its requirement to use advanced  features to do basic things, I'm fast running out of resources with only 630 users on the system.
