Mitel call forwarding

True or False?  Hunt Groups are used

"The problem is, when a call comes into the phone system it doesn't go straight to the handset, it is directed towards another group in the system. So when a call comes in, it doesn't call the handset straight away, it calls this group in the system, and because of this, you can not call forward external calls from the handset. If you were to call the handset directly (not even sure if it has an external number), the call forwarding would work."

Hunt group calls cannot be forwarded off-site; they can be forwarded to another internal extension.

Calls made directly to the extension can be forwarded off-site.

You could have the hunt group time out to a phantom extension that is forwarded couldn't you?

What exactly is the end result you are trying to get to? Can you give a specific example, there are lots of ways around this restriction with some creative programming and use of system features... or was this just an exercise in possibilities and theory?
