Using Call Rerouting to forward to an external number
« on: October 01, 2013, 09:27:32 AM »
Mitel 3300 - MCD 4
Is this possible ? Using the Call rerouting features (either first or second alt) we would like to forward calls to an external number if a particular DID extension isn't answered. I can see how it can be rerouted to another internal ext number but not to an external number. Thanks

unless things have changed you will need to setup a system speedcall then reroute to the system speedcall.

Hope that helps

Make a "dummy" number for the speed call #. Use the number you want it to go to on no answer for the actual with 91 in front of it. Go to call reroute 1st alt. Make a new one. Go to call rerouting. Search to the number you want to have the rerouting on. Put the 1st alt. you made before there. Test.

Thank you both - Sorted
ps - in case anyone else reads this I've assumed the 91 is for getting an outside line - its just a 9 on our system so followed the instructions posted just using a 9 instead and it works a treat

Cheers
