Mitel 3300 with Polycom IP6000 - No conference or 2nd call
« on: September 24, 2013, 12:05:16 PM »
We have a Mitel 3300 system with 15 plus Mitel 5320 handsets, all up and running, and can use the confernece facilities on the handsets.

We have just added a Polycom IP6000 conference phone, using a SIP connection.

The IP6000 works, and can dail and make calls with both internal and external numbers.

However, we can not establish a second call at the same time.
If we have a call in progress (either internal or external), and place the call on hold, we can press the softkey to make a second call. We get a dail tone, we enter the number (either internal or external), press send, and it just gives us the dead tone, and drops the second call.

Similarly, if we try to use the conference facility, it gives us the dail tone, we enter the number, press send, and we get a dead tone and it drops.

Somebody suggested using the conference feature code in front of the number (*80), but this makes no difference.

With have used the same Class of Service setup from the 5320 to the IP6000.
On the IP6000, we have also set it up for 1 licence, with 8 calls per licence.

Any advice or help will be gratefully received.

Thanks very much,

Jools

Add more mulitcall keys of the IP6000's extension in the key assignment form on the 3300
