UCA config on 3300
« on: August 28, 2013, 07:35:55 AM »
Hi,
I think i have a configuration issue maybe someone can help me.
We are using UCA server on the MAS and a 3300.  When I configure an extension as a App server port the UCA client will register on the desktop and i can make and received calls. However, I can't programs any buttons on the phone it is grayed out.

When I program the exten as UC Endpoint the UCA will not register. Should i be using App server port or UC endpoint to configure UCA client?

The UC Endpoint is for the UC 360s not UCA.

I assume you are trying to make a softphone work?

UC Endpoint is the setup for sip softphone on the client. Ap server is for Minet softphone.  Ideally, you would have use teleworker mode set and allow on multiple devices so that it can roam to the mobile. Make sure you setup a passcode.
