SIP CPN substitution question
« on: August 27, 2013, 01:14:13 PM »
I have these two substitutions that work fine... and now am trying to create one for the range 2001 -> 2008 with a 334 area code.. i can add 2001 to index 1 or 2 and it will display the substituted number correctly but seems like no matter what i try, with or without the 334 area code it will not do any more than 2 substitutions..

any ideas on what i might be missing or can i just have two possible at one time working ?

if i remember right when i created the 3001-3008 range it worked right away, just trying to remember its been a yr or so ago..

thanks mitel members

The new line you create, you need to add that index number into your SIP Peer profile. Have you done that?

I think I would create a new index number.
3 in your example
range: 2001-2008  VPN 304555XXXX
Next, apply the new index to either your SIP Peer profile or your PRI trunks.

ok thanks. i have not done that.. checked sip peer profiles and no data in there..

how would i apply to PRI trunks ?

i see in help there is another form.. DID Ranges for CPN Substitution.. and then another plainly named CPN Substitution.. I can not find the other one named just CPN Substitution..

sorry like i said it was a while ago..
