Silent Monitor with no tone
« on: August 02, 2013, 07:12:55 PM »
Hello,

We have a Mitel 5000 system.

We just set up the supervisors of our hunt group to be able to silent monitor listen to calls for training and evaluation purposes.

When they silent monitor an audible tone is played on the agents line.

Is there a way to turn off the tone so that management can perform undetected random monitoring with the agent being alerted?

I have been trhough the Mitel F1 help menus and can find no info on this.

Go into System Flags and check the F1-Help... I think what you are looking for is "UCD\ACD Station-Monitor Indications" and is on by default.
