Intercept Handling on ACD path
« on: August 02, 2013, 04:41:55 AM »
Hi,

Wondering if you guys had some advice with regards to intercept handling.

I have an ACD path that interflows to a non-ACD agent (just a normal DN).
If that DN is out of service I want it to intercept to another DN.

Intercept is working normally between to DN's.
However when the call interflows to the DN it does not intercept based on the out of service rule.

I am guessing it is because the DDI is still the path and not the actual DN even though it has interflowed.
However I cannot set an intercept number on the path itself.

Thanks in advance.

The system will attempt to interflow, see that the destination is out of service and it will therefore determine not to interflow. Can't interflow to a hunt group made up of the two DN's?

That sounds like a plan.

Thanks LoopyLou

Can't you call reroute the intercept DN on a busy/rna somewhere?
