UCA 5 Accounts keep deactivating
« on: June 14, 2013, 06:42:22 AM »
Hi, we have a Mitel 3300 Mxe with UCA 5 running on a linux box. Every day every UCA account appears as not active and we have to re-activate them. Why is it doing this and how do we stop it doing this? TIA!

It may be a licensing problem :
- Does your server has Internet access (to sync licenses with AMC)?
- Double check your DNS settings
- Do you think you have over-provisioned UCA features?
- Call your reseller. There could be something wrong at AMC
- As a last resort solution, they could ask a "clear hardware id" at AMC and register again your server

this is expected behaviour if you are running your UCA in a virtual environment and you have not purchased the virtual license. This was happening on one of our sites. it was virtual before virtual was sanctioned. I upgraded it and didn't think to check for the license as it has virtual before. Had to reactivate every day. First thing tech support asked.

Hi MarcOlive, yes it was all to do with syncing with AMC. As soon as we got this working properly the accounts stay activated. Many Thanks!
