Most likely never. Personally I like the 5550 better.

the 5550 is Ok, however in a hotel environment it is way too bulky for the small amount of real eastate given to the front desk...  and yes wakeups can be set via "remote wakeup call" however there is no confirmation of them.  so alas a console is necessary in these instances...

the SC-1000 on the 200 was long the mainstay of consoles..  not too big, very easy to use etc..  even on the 2000 it existed in this way and as a DNIC on our 3300's that used PER nodes.. but really 99% of our 3300 installs in hotels are all IP.. SIP to room, Minet to admin...  or a hybrid..  SIP to quintum gateway, and analog from gateway to room.. alas no PER nodes....  so im hoping the 5540 makes it to the 3300....

I agree the 5550 is better in the Huge hotel or business...  (more than 300 rooms)..  but the 3300 is making its way into smaller hotels (100-200 rooms) because of SIP capabilities..
