Info about release software into backup file.
« on: May 24, 2013, 05:12:58 AM »
I need your help.
I have a controller with 3300 lx hd failure.
 The customer has a backup but does not know which software release was present on the pbx.
 Is there a way to understand what release is a file backup?

Thanks to all!
Steve

Look into the backup tar file at /vmail/temp/db/backup/backup.dsc, there is the Software Version. My backup was made on CXi running on MCD SP2 PR2, I'm not sure if it is the same for the LX controller.

Backup Filename=Ipera3k
Software Version=11.0.2.66
TimeStamp=201305241000.02
Location=/vmail/temp/db/backup
Type=Full Online
Option=Backup Call History Records,iPVM Full Backup,
Memory Size=512
Configurable Users=700
Data Model=GDM

Don't know any way of looking in a backup file to determine the software load it was created on. If the system is in the AMC you can look there to see what load was last used but it doesn't go any further then release 9 or 8.
