Change IP address of cluster element
« on: May 07, 2013, 09:40:51 AM »
Anybody have any recommendations at doing this? Is it as simple as change the elements IP address to the new network, then change all the other elements entries to reflect the new IP address in the cluster elements table or is there more too it than that?

Yep, the couple of times I have had to do it, that is about all that is required.

Plus don't forget to update the IP/XNET form as well with the changes.

I think if you change the network element all others will change, but like what was said the ICP/PBX info will need updating.

Yeah, I forgot about the ICP/PBX Networking form, got those changed and the rest updated automatically via SDS. Was a pretty easy change.

Thanks!
