UCA server IP address change with Peering
« on: April 15, 2013, 06:03:42 PM »
I had a customer that has several UCA servers scattered across the country that are all peered together, in two local sites we changed the internal IP address scheme and the IP address of the UCA servers, now we can't get the UCA servers to connect to the other peers anymore... Any ideas, the settings on our end seem correct and everything is working locally but the peering is broken. I am getting on a conference call tomorrow with a couple of the administrators of the remote site to see if we can figure it out, anything to point me in the right direction to start with?

Basically I have four sites involves, Bismarck (IP changed), Underwood (IP changed), Dallas (unchanged), and Mississippi (unchanged), here is what I know about Presence and Chat information so far...

Bismarck to Underwood - Both directions not working
Dallas to Underwood - working
Underwood to Dallas - not working
Mississippi to Underwood - Both directions not working
Dallas to Mississippi - Working in both directions

That's all I got until tomorrow I guess.

Eh, looks like it is just DNS issues on the remote ends, the two local ends started talking as soon as I removed and then added the peers back in.
