I have a question regarding a MS VM system.
When used as an auto attendant and the call is transferred, does it "Trombone" the call? Meaning does the AA drop out of the call completely or does in transfer out another port on the VM?

SIP trunks? Think the SIP trunk protocol will prevent it but if you want to make sure what about a wire shark capture?

It would be SIP trunks.
I know there are circumstances where the Esna VM will trombone calls. I was wonder if MS did it too.

seen tromboning on E&M access to a Octel so it is possible. Not sure however if the SIP protocol would stop the looping.
