Outbound Display
« on: January 15, 2013, 04:36:05 PM »
Supporting a 5000 I didnt install or configure.

Whenever an extension makes an outbound call the display only shows the first 7 digits and then the next 3 digits.

Here is what the phone's display looks like if I try to dial 3065551234
  306-5551  (on the first screen)
  234 (on the next screen)

The call still completes however if they try and use their call log or redial it only uses the first 7 digits (306-5551) and the call does work.

It is matching 7 digits as a local call instead of 10, I can't remember if this is the local area code 306 is not defined in System-Numbering Plan-Home Area Codes or the System-Number Plan-Area Flags-Local 7/10 Digit Dialing flag is incorrect, but I would lean towards the first one.

Try changing your Area Flags to Yes, Yes, No, Yes, No. Make some test calls (local, toll, etc.) and adjust if needed.
