Has anyone ran into anything special they need to enable or disable on the newest APC SmartUPS's to be able to get the 5000 to talk to them?
Have 13 brand-new APC SmartUPS SMC1500 connected via the included usb cords.
The syslog shows that the 5000 detects when the UPS is plugged in, showing the model, manufacturer, and serial information; but shows "upsd.hotplug: Error starting UPS monitoring" every single time.
Currently have a ticket open with support, but they want me to send them one of the UPS since they have the older/different models and they all work correctly.
