How to configure the Night Service 2
« on: August 02, 2012, 06:32:34 PM »
We have a IP Console 5500 for our Operator, when it's on Night Service 2 it rings to someone else's desk in Operator's absence, but when internal calls come in when it's on Night Service 2 it rings busy and says Opeator Absent and external calls come through successfully.

Need for internal calls to come through properly, which in Controller can I find this Night Services configuration (the telecom tech configured it originally).

I may not have a clear understanding of what you're trying to do so I'll take a stab.

If you want the operator to still take calls in Night 2 then the operator has to go Present again.  It will put the console in absent automatically when switching to night modes.

If you want the internal calls to ring somewhere else when in night 2 and the operator is absent you must go to the call rerouting form and forward the number being dialed to where you want it to go in night 2.
