Plantronics CS50 wireless headset and 5330 phone
« on: March 08, 2012, 05:00:44 PM »
I purchased a plantronics CS50 wireless headset and plugged it into the 5330 model phone.  Now it works, but you still have to lift the handset to get to hear dial tone or answer a call.

Is there a way to get it so if she is a few feet away and the phone rings, she can just hit the button and it answers?  From past experience on the cisco side, I was able to do that.  Haven't figured it out on the Mitel side yet.

Any advice?  is the only way is to get the handset lifter?

On a Mitel phone, you'll require a handset raiser.

As Bluewhite4 pointed out with a Plantronics headset you need a lifter.
Plantronics sells this as an add on.

If you don't want the lifter then you'll need to purchase the Mitel DECT headset.
These work great for that application.
