Internet Explorer Settings
« on: February 13, 2012, 07:37:40 AM »
Can anyone recommend specific settings in IE options to allow for clean 3300 integration. I am running Win7 with IE9..... ive had no issues whatsoever with browsign to 3300's, from rel 8.0 to MCD 5.0 however when i installed MCD 4.0 SP4 to a controller i get constant certificate errors. I reset my IE options and i can now get in, but getting some funny things.... i.e in the System IP config - i cannot see the bottom half of the page to set the DNS settings.

Ive cleared my browser cache and added the IP's to my trusted sites but still getting issues.... i understand there is no support for IE9 until MCD 5.0 however it has worked with no issues in the past.

Thanks in advance

have you installed the mitel root certificate from the log in screen? This should fix any certificate errors

I've attached the Advanced IE settings.  This has worked fine for me.

Yep I'm aware it's not supported which I did mention in the original post :P just because it's not supported doesn't mean it doesn't work :D

As I mentioned it's worked without a single problem in the past, jus the 4.0 SP4 that has started playing up.

I've since restored IE to default..... Tweaked some settings and it's looking good for the minute. As previously mentioned I had the small issue with DNS, after modifying the IP of the 3300 it started working.

Strange...........

Quite often I find that clearing out temp internet files resolves any issues that I have when using IE9. Just make sure that you close IE after you delete them out, and then I generally find that fixes things for me.
