softphones
« on: July 25, 2011, 05:00:18 PM »
Other than UC Advanced is there any other softphones (free or charge) that work with the Mitel 3300.  I have a situation where a end user needs a softphone for a week.

Thanks

Depends if you have spare licences or not, but a soft phone like 3CX will do the job. It's free, and then it's just a matter of if you have licences spare as to if the rest of it is free.
You didn't mention if you are using the soft phone internally or externally as to if it will need to go through a TW or not.

UCExpress can turn into a SIP softphone with a 40$ license.

It's very lite and works great.  I have a few customers using it.

You can use any SIP softphone (X-Lite etc) with 3300 or 5000 system as long as you have a license to use it.
