Connecting 3300 ICP with tracker box
« on: September 03, 2011, 12:21:00 PM »
hello everyone !

We have a 3300 CX 11. We want to connect this unit with a datatrack tracker 2746 for collecting system alarms and remote access. We have a separate dedicated analog line for the tracker box. Could you please let me know how to connect this tracker box and on which port it need to be connected ?

Not familiar with the box. There is an RS232 port on the front but that's not really for alarms or for remote access. For remote access you need to be on the LAN with the 3300. For alarm connections you need to collect the SNMP traps generated by the system. You would have to set the 3300 to use the IP address of your box as where it sends its alarms.
