MAS Upgrade Error

Tried to upgrade an old MAS 1.2 box Friday night. Took it to 2.0, than 2.1.
No real issues there.

Next step was to take it to 3.0SP1. Now, after I installed MSL 9.3.17.0 and restored the 2.1 database, I go to install the blades. It returns the following error:
"Unable to optain version number of Blade-Mitel_Applications_Suite"

Anyone have any idea what this error means and how to get past it? If I can't get an answer before Monday, I'll call support and update from there, but would be nice to fix it before than.

I think this is an AMC license issue, I vaguely remember doing this and there was no 2to3 option within the ARID. I may be wrong but I reckon this was my issue. I will check my ARID to see exactly what the option was.

Ohhh shoot. Pretty sure your right. I didn't originally look at the sale bulletin for MAS 3.0, just the 3.0SP1 ones. The SP1 notes don't mention the need for a MAS 2.x to 3.x upgrade  part number. I see that now in the original 3.0 sales bulletin.

I hate that, I seem to always have problems upgrading everything but 3300s because they either aren't clear on the upgrade path, or only mention an upgrade part number once.

I've waiting for it to appear on my AMC, but I'm betting that will fix it.

Yes, that resolved it right away. For whatever reason the 3 Call Director mailboxes didn't restore, but those were easy to re-create.
