Need more details.
3300?

What is your mailbox number?
What is the extension number that you want to put the message waiting key on?
What type of Voice mail?  Embedded or NuPoint or something else.

What is 4444?
Is it a hunt group, a phone or a key that appears on multiple phones?

Why the '!'?

Anyhow,  you can't create a message waiting key for a hunt group.

Here's what you do:
Create a different hunt group with the same members - as example we can call it 5555.
Next, delete the 1st member of that hunt group from all phones and reprogram that button as 4444.
Next, in call rerouting forms, forward that button to the new hunt group on a busy to 5555 and RNA back to voice mail.

Now you can put a message waiting key of 4444 on all the phones.

No and I've never seen any from Mitel.   I probably should create some.   I have to explain it enough times.  Maybe I can do that within the next few weeks.

Here's a related link.  Maybe it will be some more help:  www.mitelforums.com/forum/index.php/topic,2060.0.html

Next, delete the 1st member of That hunt group from all phones and reprogram the button That 4444.

Answers: How do I programming this?

Ralph,

Maybe we're not talking about the same thing. I just need to program the key message from the phone to access the mailbox.

I think I understand.   The problem is that you can't create a msg wtg key for a hunt group.   If you're looking for a key to light to indicate you have a message waiting in mailbox 4444 so that you can press it button and it ask you for the password for 4444 - and 4444 is a hunt group - you won't be able to do that.
4444 will need to be a key.

But then again maybe I don't understand.   Is 6661 the pilot number to call for voice mail or is that the group of keys that appears on all phones?

Ralph,

Mailbox = 6661
4444 = Hunt group VM. (Usasdo to access messages)

To access my voicemail, dial 4444 and after that I type the password. I would just press the key message from this phone and after entering the password. That's what my customer needs.

Then I did misunderstand.

Let me be sure again that I know what 6661 is.
Is it a hunt group of keys that ring on a phone?  If not, is it more than just a mailbox?  Does it ring somewhere and then forward to VM?

Ralph,

6661 is an extension to the mailbox.

If 6661 is just an extension, meaning it's a real phone somewhere or a key on a phone, then it's pretty simple to set up a mwi key on a phone.

Log into the system, use the drop down and select "all forms alphabetically".
Go to "multiline set key assignment".
Search for the phone you want to add the MWI key on and edit the key you want to add the button on.
Use the drop down box to select "message waiting indicator" and then enter 6661 under the extension field.

That should be all you need to do.

Ralph,

I would use the key message of the phone and do not schedule a new key.
